Swimsuit trends can be fickle little buggers. Year after year, we watch as the world of swim churns out new style after new style and this summer is no different. Since the weather hasn’t quite permitted an influx of bikini pictures on Instagram à la your favorite influencers, celebs, and friends, right now is that weird overwhelming in-between time where you’re still struggling to figure out which new swimsuit trend is right for you. Here to help guide you just a smidge are three of my favorite fashion girls, Ali Tate Cutler, Michelle Li, and Anaa Saber.

“I can’t wait to wear the high-waisted shorts as bottoms. I haven’t tried any on yet, but they give me massive Marilyn Monroe meets Sporty Spice vibes. And they seem like they will cover my whole bum, which is a definite improvement from a lot of the teeny-weeny bottoms I’ve tried.” — Cutler
“This summer I’m going to pass on the barely-there swimsuit. If there’s anything I learned from quarantine it’s that comfort is key and I refuse to take going to the beach for granted this summer so I’m going to make sure every trip is comfortable and fun.
