As the EU plans to abolish customs duty exemption for overseas orders under €150 from next year, Turkish trade bodies have called for excluding their country from this, citing its negative impact on their e-commerce exports to the EU, the country’s Customs Union membership, strong supply chain integration and the uncertainty related to the regulation.
They feel Turkiye is not a threat to EU economies.
