With the start of summer near, there are so many things I’m grateful for. With everything from better tanning weather to discovering new beauty finds for the season , I always manage to make the most of the warmer transition months. Another thing I love diving headfirst into before things really heat up? A good sale , of course.
As usual, Nordstrom didn’t come to play for its Half Yearly Sale . Starting today and ending on June 6, you can get up to 60% off selected beauty items . If you’re like me and happen to have a list of buzz-worthy beauty items handy that you’ve been wanting to try, now is the perfect time to act. Nordstrom’s Half Yearly features beauty buys from cult-loved brands like Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and MAC, to name a few. For a sneak peek into my (slightly too-full) cart, keep scrolling below.
Clinique’s skincare products are pretty much legend around here. This clarifying toner sweeps away dull skin and provides deep hydration in one fell swoop.
This bold, vibrant lipstick from Bobbi Brown is perfect for work or a night out.
Urban Decay has some serious fan favorites, including the brand’s All Nighter Setting Spray and Naked palettes. But this plumping lip shine shouldn’t be forgotten about. It’s ultra hydrating, loaded with hyaluronic acid, and just the right amount of color.
Every celebrity hairstylist I ask recommends T3 tools. This curling iron with an interchangeable barrel creates the perfect shiny, loose curls or waves in record time.
Deborah Lippmann’s limited-edition set features her cult-loved Gel Lab Pro polishes. Celebrity nail artists and nail enthusiasts alike hoard the stuff, and this particular set comes with lilac, deep magenta, classic gold, and more.
Just peep the reviews. This night cream from Irene Forte absolutely delivers. The formula contains hibiscus seeds and green pea extract to help boost collagen production in the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles in record time.
MAC’s loose color pigments are legendary. I remember going to the MAC counter at the mall when I was a teenager and being obsessed with the looks each makeup artist would create with them. This gorgeous rose-gold pigment is only $7 at the moment—it would be a crime not to snag it.
Folks love this soft, plush-like cream for its whipped texture and ability to deliver extra-radiant skin. It also has prebiotics, probiotics, and niacinamide to improve the skin’s overall health, texture, and tone.
Using pretty much anything from Antica Farmacista makes me feel like I’m at an incredibly luxurious spa. This Prosecco Body Moisturizer from the brand really takes the cake, though. The fresh and zesty scent was inspired by the aroma of actual champagne with sparkly top notes of satsuma citrus along with apricot, nectarine, and passionfruit.
I don’t know a single editor who dislikes Stila. The brand’s crease-proof concealer is a must-have, especially while it’s on sale. It easily hides blemishes while smoothing dark circles and even de-puffs with ingredients like elderflower extract.
If you’ve been looking for a mini mascara to stash in your bag on the go, I’ve found the one. The brand’s cult-loved mascara, Better Than Sex, now comes in a mini size along with the brand’s other popular formula Damn Girl! And when it’s on sale, you have nothing to lose.
Yeah, I’ll admit it. I struggle with blackheads a lot on my nose. So many people I know have had success using Clinique’s deep-cleansing scrub. It’s a three-in-one cleanser, scrub, and deep-cleaning mask that reduces the appearance of pores and blackheads while controlling excess oil production.
Who What Wear staffers love NuFace products. Although the brand is mostly known for its facial-toning device, you might want to consider snagging the brand’s body-toning device as well while it’s temporarily cheaper. It’s an FDA-cleared at-home microcurrent body-toning device that helps firm and smooth away the look of uneven skin.
StriVectin’s retinol is king, but because we shouldn’t neglect the area below our face, you’re going to want to try out the brand’s Tightening Neck Cream Plus, designed specifically for the neck. It tightens, firms, smooths out wrinkles, and corrects the look of uneven tone. It also strengthens the skin barrier and helps prevent moisture loss.
We on the beauty team are obsessed with Sisley products. Would we honestly be beauty editors if we weren’t? The brand’s Phyto-Teint Expert Foundation is normally pretty pricy, but Nordstrom’s Half Yearly offers it at quite a discounted price. It has a natural finish but provides great, buildable coverage. The formula is also enriched with some serious hydration to enhance your natural moisture levels throughout the day.
Although Kiramoon is a fairly new brand, it has already gained a bit of a cult following with its adorable Moon Globe Facial Rollers. The best part, though, is that the brand also has some great skincare options like this Flowermelon Super Hydra Serum. It hydrates, soothes, and plumps the skin and has a light water-gel consistency.
A friend once convinced me to buy Megababe’s ever-popular Rosy Pits Natural Deodorant, and I haven’t looked back since. Now, I’m adding this glycolic acid body scrub to my list because I could always use a good exfoliation after a long week. With other ingredients like sunflower-seed oil, coconut oil, squalane, and kelp extract, it’ll leave your skin feeling baby soft and never dry due to the chemical exfoliants in the formula.
Finally,a primer I trust with SPF 50 in it. Bobbi Brown’s lightweight face primer glides right on and creates an invisible seal of hydration on the skin that allows for better makeup application.
If you like fresh, citrusy scents, Atelier Cologne offers this cool cocktail of sparkling notes. It opens with Moroccan cedrat, Mexican lime, and earthy bergamot, making you feel like you’re on the tropical summer vacay of your dreams. I definitely will be taking advantage of the discounted price tag.
And last (but certainly not least), a girl can never have too many lipsticks, so this rich, rosy shade from MAC is for sure in my cart.
