If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been shopping at Zara for a while now. But, whereas you once checked the new-arrivals section of the brand’s app on a twice-weekly basis, you’ve now found yourself slowing down, only scanning it once a week and occasionally stopping inside a nearby store on your lunch break. (That’s what I call progress.) Though most collections remain chic, not to mention shockingly expensive-looking, I’ve found that some err a bit too far on the youthful side for my taste. Whenever that happens, I turn my attention to Zara’s older and wiser big sister: Massimo Dutti.

The brand was founded in 1985 in Barcelona as a menswear label, acquired in 1991 by Zara’s parent company Inditex, and introduced to womenswear in 1995. With a focus on uncompromising comfort, exquisite tailoring, and effortless wearability, Massimo Dutti seems to check off every box. (It’s no wonder Kate Middleton’s a big fan.) So, when I found out that Zara would be selling the label’s collections straight from its website (and my beloved app!), I quickly became hooked. Like Zara-level hooked. And the rest was history.

This is no ordinary tank top.

Getting dressed this summer just got a whole lot easier.

A pretty, comfortable shoe option that’s guaranteed to bring forth compliments.

You can’t go wrong with a maxi slip dress, whether it’s for a wedding or a casual day of errands.

Excuse my drooling. But really, can you blame me?

Add this to every jeans or trousers outfit for an added level of put-togetherness and grace.

Need.

From the beach to the office.

A classic choice.

Oversize earrings are having a moment right now, and this enamel pair is the perfect place to start getting in on the trend.

2023’s perfect topper.

An elevated take on a standard-issue linen shirt.

Who needs jewelry when you have sandals like these?

It really doesn’t get much better than this under-$150 dress.

Buying and wearing a white, linen skirt will never lead to regrets.

These beach shorts are at the tippy top of my summer wishlist.

Beautiful is an understatement.

I’ve been seeing cage-toe heels like these everywhere. They’re so vintage and classic.

Well, surely I need one of these. You too, of course.

A true beauty.

This bag could easily pass as designer.

This crinkled, leather skirt is a work of art if I’ve ever seen one.

What kind of fashion editor would I be if I didn’t share this creamsicle-colored blazer with all of you?

Pair these with trousers, baggy cutoffs, or your favorite sundress.

Like this sundress perhaps.

An elegant alternative for bikinis.

Catch me buying two of every sweater from now on so I can style it like this picture.

These are giving strong Celine vibes, and I’m into it all the way (especially the fact that they’re on sale).

The kind of barely-there outerwear that’s ideal for super warm days.

A wardrobe essential no matter the season.
