Hugo Boss unveils a new fragrance
25 years after the launch of Hugo Boss’ original Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette, the brand has unveiled a new fragrance called Boss Bottled Elixir. An extension of the Boss Bottled family, this new cologne is the most highly concentrated of the bunch.
A reimagination of modern masculinity in a fragrance with top notes of incense and cardamom essences, and vetiver and patchouli at its heart, Boss Bottled Elixir is the brainchild of master perfumer Annick Menardo, who created the OG scent with fellow perfumer Suzy Le Helley.
“I wanted to approach the gourmand family 25 years later in a more contemporary way, with an overdose of vanilla notes sophisticated by a strong patchouli signature and a rich ambery background,” shares Menardo on her approach to the new cologne.
“It was a great adventure but also a huge challenge to be able to reinvent a perfume with such a reputation, alongside Annick Menardo,” adds Le Helley.
In its midnight black glass flacon with a beaming burst of light down its center, Boss Bottled Elixir seeks to capture the concept of “BOSSes” finding their inner light and being their own boss. “I always like following my convictions in my creations and this statement of ‘being your own boss’ resonates quite well with my way of working, and reminds me of the leap of faith I took in following my intuition to create the original Boss Bottled 25 years ago,” explains Menardo.
A quarter of a century later, Boss Bottled is back and better than ever.

Waxon and Sous La Face join forces to bring new beauty services to Canadians
Due for a day of self-care? Why not do it A-list-style with a visit to Waxon Laser + Waxbar, where new beauty services in partnership with celebrity facial studio Sous La Face are now being offered?
At two new co-branded Canadian Waxon locations (Toronto’s Liberty Village and Landsdowne in Ottawa), you can officially treat yourself to innovative and collaborative new services, including Sous La Face’s highly coveted “RRR” facial, and more.
The iconic Radical Radiance Regime (RRR) Facial works to stimulate facial muscles and release tension, which ultimately boosts collagen production and increases skin elasticity, facial blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Odds are, you’ve seen it on Instagram, and now you can try out the treatment that Sous La Face celeb clients Hailey Bieber and Nicola Peltz Beckham love firsthand.

Jordan Samuel Skin‘s latest product offering is a dream treatment for anyone looking to work antioxidants into their skincare routine, which should really be all of us. The Antioxidant Treatment Emulsion is, as its name suggests, an antioxidant and peptide serum powered by core niacinamide and resveratrol ingredients that work to brighten skin, minimize excess oil production, and combat oxidative stress on the skin. With a mission to create a product that is “power-packed and sensitive skin friendly,” founder and former esthetician (and pro ballet dancer) Jordan Samuel Pacitti presents this new must-have.
Sun Pharma’s Winlevi is now available in Canada

There’s a new topical treatment now available in the Canadian market for acne-prone skin that is bound to change your skincare regime for the better. Sun Pharma’s Winlevi is a first-of-its-kind androgen receptor (androgens are hormones, and the receptor allows the body to respond accordingly to said hormones) inhibitor that helps treat acne — which has a hormonal component — by preventing the effects of androgen receptors in cells of oil-producing skin glands. Meaning, oil production in the skin is reduced, and you’ll be on your way to a clearer complexion. If you’re part of the 20 per cent of Canadians affected by acne, ask your dermatologist about this new innovation.
