I can’t be the only one whose feed on every social media platform is currently home to a seemingly endless assortment of ’90s Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy photos. Not that I’m complaining—my Instagram Saved folder is just as packed with said images. Chic, sophisticated, and always dressed to the nines in an effortless manner, Bessette-Kennedy is the modern woman’s style icon for a reason. Anytime I find an item that’s even remotely similar to one she frequented back then, I have to buy it. End of story.

Well, that’s exactly what happened today when I was scrolling through J.Crew and stumbled upon a $25 tortoiseshell acetate headband that looks shockingly similar to the style Bessette-Kennedy wore on repeat, either with her corn-blonde hair worn straight and down or tied up in her signature chignon. (I saw on TikTok that she was rumored to have bought hers at C.O. Bigelow, an iconic New York City pharmacy in the West Village.) Of course, I ordered one right away and will probably be back for its kelly-green alternative. Follow my lead after looking through some of Bessette-Kennedy’s best headband-clad street style looks.

It’s on sale.

For over 50 years, Alexandre de Paris has been handcrafting gorgeous hair accessories in France. What more can you ask for?

I just love an Amazon find.

Incredibly chic.

This Sophie Buhai headband is even named after the late fashion darling.

You can trust France Luxe, a brand whose process for crafting French-made hair accessories has been used for over 100 years.

If you’re prepared to splurge or perhaps in need of a really good holiday-gift option.

I love how thin this one is.

Anytime I can get two instead of one, I’m taking that option.

I’d get black and tortoiseshell so I can match my sunglasses to my headband. But that’s just me.

What a gorgeous shade of tortoiseshell.

Sale alert!

I’m obsessed with this colorway.
