China’s textile & garment exports see modest growth of 1.1% in Jan-Jul

China’s textile and garment exports grew by 1.1 per cent to $169.839 billion in January-July 2024, driven by a 3.3 per cent rise in textile exports.
There was a 0.8 per cent drop in garment exports during the period. July alone saw $26.798 billion in exports.
Imports of textile yarn and fabrics increased slightly by 0.5 per cent during the same period.
