German specialty chemicals company LANXESS has decided to continue producing chromium oxide pigments at its Krefeld-Uerdingen site, reversing earlier plans to sell the business.
This decision secures the jobs of around fifty employees and follows successful negotiations for a long-term raw material supply and improvements in the value chain.
