LyondellBasell (LYB) has agreed to acquire full ownership of APK AG, a German company specialising in solvent-based recycling technology.
This acquisition aligns with LYB’s goal to produce 2 million metric tons of recycled and renewable polymers annually by 2030.
LYB plans to leverage APK’s unique technology to recycle hard-to-recycle flexible plastic waste.
