Pakistan received 1.075 million bales of cotton up to Aug 15 in the 2024-25 marketing season, a 49.17 per cent decrease compared to the same period last year.
The slow initial arrivals in July contrast with the early influx in previous years due to favourable weather. Overall, 2023-24 season saw a significant increase from the previous year.
