UK has secured the final ratification needed to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), a major trade bloc spanning 5 continents and nearly 600 million people.
Following Peru’s approval, the agreement will take effect by December 15, making over 99 per cent of UK goods exports to CPTPP countries tariff-free.
