Despite 59 per cent of US consumers saying inflation will probably influence their holiday spending in 2024, overall spending is projected to rise by 7 per cent YoY and by 15 per cent from 2022 levels to an average of $1,638 per shopper, a PwC survey found.
While home delivery is dominant, alternatives like buy online, pick up in-store are gaining ground, especially among Gen Z and millennials.
