The US consumer price index for all urban consumers rise by 0.2 per cent month on month (MoM) on a seasonally-adjusted basis in September, the same rise as in August and July.
The index for apparel rose in September MoM; it rose by 1.8 per cent over the last 12 months.
The index for all items less food and energy rose by 0.3 per cent in September; it rose by 3.3 per cent over the last 12 months.
