US port imports remain strong despite a brief strike in early October, as per the Global Port Tracker report.
The strike, which lasted three days, ended with a tentative wage agreement and a short-term contract extension.
Ports are expected to recover quickly, with no impact on holiday shopping, while imports for 2024 are forecast to grow by 12.1 per cent compared to 2023.
