China’s producer price index (PPI) dropped 2.8 per cent YoY in September, with a 0.6 per cent monthly decline, reflecting international commodity price fluctuations and weak domestic demand, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Clothing prices fell 0.3 per cent, and non-food prices dropped 0.2 per cent. Meanwhile, the consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.4 per cent annually.
