Japan and Bangladesh have agreed to sign an economic partnership agreement (EPA) by the end of 2025 or early 2026 to deepen and expand bilateral trade and investment ties.
The second round of EPA talks, held in Dhaka recently in a hybrid format, discussed trade in goods, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, trade in services, investment and intellectual property.
