Mitsui Chemicals and subsidiary Shimonoseki Mitsui Chemicals are developing recycling technology to produce high-purity phosphorus materials in Japan.
Partnering with AIST, Yoneyama Chemical, and Saga University, the project, backed by NEDO, aims to recover phosphoric acid from underused resources, creating high-value materials for industrial reuse.
