The European Commission recently presented the first European Semester Autumn Package since the comprehensive reform of the EU’s new economic governance framework entered into force in April.
The framework supports members in achieving macroeconomic stability, growth and fiscal sustainability.
The European Council and the Eurogroup will now discuss the Package’s fiscal part.
