Bangladesh may face a 20 per cent drop in exports to the EU if it fails to implement effective policies in a timely manner compared to its close competitors, Abdur Razzaque, chairman of Research and Policy for Development told a recent discussion.
The country’s upcoming graduation from the least developed country status and the EU’s FTA with Vietnam may also slow export growth further, he said.
