Clariant to supply catalyst for China’s biomass methanol project

Clariant announced that its MegaMax catalyst will be used in China’s first biomass gasification-to-green methanol project.
The plant will use farm waste and wind power producing up to 250,000 tons annually by 2027.
MegaMax offers enhanced stability and efficiency, improving green methanol synthesis, with technical support from Clariant’s ACT team and digital services.
