Between January-October, South Africa’s imports of textiles and textile articles rose by 11.3 per cent to 55,322.8 million rand, reflecting a substantial increase from the previous year.
During the same period, exports also grew slightly by 1.0 per cent, highlighting the country’s status as a net importer in this sector.
