Retail trade volume in the euro area and EU declined in October 2024, with the euro area down by 0.5 per cent and the EU by 0.3 per cent.
Non-food product sales dropped by 0.9 per cent in the euro area.
However, compared to October 2023, retail sales grew by 1.9 per cent in the euro area and 2.1 per cent in the EU.
Luxembourg, Romania, and Croatia saw the highest annual increases.
