India’s annual wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation rate was 2.37 per cent in December, provisional statistics show.
Rise in textile prices contributed to the positive rate.
The WPIs for manufacturing of textiles and apparel in the month were 136.9 and 154.4 respectively.
The YoY rates of WPI inflation for textiles and apparel in the month were 2.39 per cent and 1.65 per cent respectively.
