OECD inflation remained stable at 4.7 per cent in December 2024, with energy inflation rising but core inflation slightly declining.
G7 inflation increased to 2.8 per cent.
The euro area’s inflation rose to 2.4 per cent, while G20 inflation fell to 5.1 per cent, its lowest since September 2021.
Argentina saw a sharp drop, while China’s inflation remained near zero at 0.1 per cent.
