Germany’s Leading Economic Index (LEI) rose by 0.1 per cent in December 2024 to 87.3, following a 0.2 per cent drop in November.
The LEI contracted 0.2 per cent in H2 2024, improving from a 2.2 per cent decline in H1.
Meanwhile, the Coincident Economic Index (CEI) fell 0.4 per cent in December.
Economist Allen Li noted stabilisation, projecting sluggish 0.4 per cent GDP growth in 2025.
