Germany’s Business Climate Index remained steady at 85.2 in February, reflecting continued scepticism among companies, according to the ifo Institute.
While the current business situation dipped to 85.0 from 86.0 in January, expectations improved to 85.4 from 84.3.
Manufacturing saw optimism as order books stabilised, while the service sector declined, especially in transport and logistics.
