India’s WPI eased to 2.05 per cent in March from 2.38 per cent in February, with the overall index slipping to 154.5.
Month-on-month, WPI fell by 0.19 per cent.
The moderation was driven by declines in primary articles and fuel prices, although prices rose in food products, electricity, and textiles.
The index for manufactured products increased to 144.4, with notable gains in textiles and apparel.
