Gemspring Capital will acquire Goodyear Chemical, the polymer business of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, including sites in Houston and Beaumont, Texas, and an R&D center in Akron, Ohio.
Goodyear will retain other chemical sites.
The deal expands Gemspring’s footprint in specialty chemicals, supporting industries from automotive to healthcare and packaging.
