In April 2025, industrial production fell by 2.4 per cent in the euro area and 1.8 per cent in the EU MoM, despite YoY growth of 0.8 per cent and 0.6 per cent respectively.
All industrial groupings saw monthly declines.
Ireland recorded both the highest annual growth (+18.4 per cent) and sharpest monthly drop (-15.2 per cent), while non-durable consumer goods showed the strongest annual gains.
