Italy’s consumer price index (NIC) rose by 0.2 per cent in June 2025 and 1.7 per cent YoY, slightly up from May, as per Istat.
The rise was driven by higher transport and durable goods prices, while energy prices declined.
Core inflation stood at 2 per cent.
The harmonised index (HICP) rose 1.8 per cent annually, impacting lower-income households more than higher-income ones.
