I know Paris Fashion Week has just started, but I still can’t stop thinking about the ‘fits our editors all sported while attending New York Fashion Week at the beginning of the month. We’ve all been working from home so there’s been a clear lack of office looks (sometimes one of us wears a cute top on Zoom and we all cheer) but when it came to street style—we all brought our A-game. We try to bring editor styling as much as we can to WWW, whether it’s bringing the dressing room straight to your screen or showing you how we wear our latest collection drop, but fashion week is a whole other ballpark. It’s a balance of comfort for running around shows and fusing the season’s top trends with our distinct personal style.

“When it came to picking out what to wear for fashion week, I knew I wanted to wear one of my favorite trends for fall: unique color stories. We’re back in the mix, so why opt for a bold pairing like pink and orange? I loved everything about this look—from the Hillary MacMillan trench coat to the hand-dyed Svnr Slip to the Petit Koraj bag brought me so much joy (and garnered all the compliments).”
“I am obsessed with the AAPI-owned brand, Abacaxi, so I jumped at the chance to wear this bold asymmetrical tie-dye top for fashion week. To keep the top the focus of the look, I paired it with my favorite leather shorts from Aritzia, a vegan leather bag from the popular handbag brand JW Pei, and a fun statement sandal from Kat Maconie. For me, this look is the perfect balance of fun and functionality.”
“After a few brutal days of running around the city in heels, my feet were in dire need of a break. I love this outfit because it’s giving pop-punk vibes in the best way possible; plus, it was so comfortable. I found the incredible Helmut Lang fringe leather mini skirt second-hand and decided to pair it with Miaou’s screen-printed mesh top, a matching Mlouye yellow bag, and Dr. Martens. Doing right by the pop-punk predecessors.”
“I love a colorful outfit, so when our Who What Wear collection released this mint button-up dress, I jumped at the chance to wear it. First off, I should say this dress is one of the most comfortable, and flattering dresses I’ve owned in a long-time. In addition to its wearability, it’s super easy to style. I choose to style it with my By Far stripped micro bag, and purple Nana Jacqueline mules for a pastel-inspired ensemble; but there are so many ways to get creative with this dress. It is a fashion week hero piece for sure.”
“I’ll be the first to admit, I live for a risqué look—and this, With Jean printed silk set is just that. To tame it down for fashion week, I paired it with my favorite Dion Lee cutout blazer and matching Steve Madden mules, and a matching yellow bag from JW Pei. This outfit to me, is the epitome of the phrase, ‘work hard, play hard’.”
“Let’s be honest: this skirt was the main event. I was excited to style it in a way that really lets the delicate midriff straps shine, so I kept it simple with ’90s-inspired basics like strappy heeled thongs and a ribbed tank top and layered on some colorful resin rings for a little pop of color.”
“It’s me, your ’70s professor reporting for duty. Tonal tailoring and waistcoats are two trends that are having a big moment for fall so I wanted to test-drive them together for fashion week and this camel duo from Aritzia was the perfect way to do it.”
“This was by far my favorite look of the week, probably because it was also the most comfortable. I’ll be honest, fashion week outfits don’t always lend themselves well to wearing outside of the week but I can confidently say I would wear this outfit in real life, too. I think the Ganni dress speaks for itself, but I’ll just add that I’m convinced everyone should own it. Yep, it’s that good.”
“Normally, I shy away from bold prints and bright colors but if fashion week isn’t the right venue to go outside my comfort zone then I’m not sure what is. I mean, how cool is this Miaou mesh top? To amp up the saturation, I paired it with my favorite slime green COS trousers that I’ve been wearing for years now and kept my accessories super neutral with a tan slide and beige shoulder bag.”
“Out of all my fashion week looks, this had to be my top favorite. I’ve had this Paloma wool maxi dress for a while, and actually folded and pinned it to make it. a top! A perfect way to prove that one piece in your wardrobe, even if it is ‘trendy’ can go so many ways. I was brave with the color palette this day, but a black leather blazer is an easy way to pull anything together when you’re feeling cautious.”
“New York weather wasn’t exactly cool enough for this sweater set during NYFW, but I braved it out and wore it anyway because of how much joy it brought. I kept it simple with my favorite pair of Mansur Gavriel ballet fats (best purchase ever) and JW Pei’s new bag, which is coming soon!”
“I’ve always been an avid fan of Nanushka, and actually scored the pieces of this set heavily discounted months apart. Proof that patience is a virtue, and to always stalk the sale section. Now that I’ve felt the luxury of Nanushka’s vegan leather, I want don’t want anything else. What batter way to pair leather with more leather, so I added my JW Pei ruched faux leather purse to top it all off.”
“This was definitely one of my favorite looks during NYFW. It was on-trend, comfortable, and affordable. I’ve already worn the vest and trousers again together and separately. I paired the look with my very beloved vintage Manolo mules and big sunglasses.”
“This is pretty much the dress of my dreams. I love the unique cutouts and the fit made me feel like a million bucks. I kept the styling simple with a pair of white strappy sandals and some statement sunnies.”
“I love this set from SIR. Together, the top and pants look so sleek, but separately the pieces are just as big of a hit in my wardrobe. I tried to add a laid-back element by pairing the look with my favorite baseball cap from Aime Leon Dore. It was one of the most ‘me’ outfits I wore during my time in New York.”
“I wear these trousers at least once a week in my everyday life, so they were my comfort blanket for this outfit. Between the pearls and the cutouts, this fun top had plenty going on!”
“I felt like spider woman in this dress with the sleeve that hooked in between my fingers. I love that it nods to the gloves trend too. I wore them with my favorite cream crochet Neous shoes to keep the cream theme going all the way to my toes.”
“Believe it or not, this is two pieces: a bra top and a high-waisted skirt with a cutout. The triple buckles and long ties on this piece won me over. I feel like it perfectly embodies my style. I’m not sure I’ll have many occasions to wear such a statement outfit post fashion week, but I’m so obsessed with it I don’t even care that it will largely just hang in my closet.”
