Aramco, Sinopec, and FPCL have formed a new joint venture, Fujian Sinopec Aramco Refining and Petrochemical Co, Ltd, to build a large refining and petrochemical complex in China’s Fujian province.
Set to start by 2030, the project includes a 16 mtpa refinery, 1.5 mtpa ethylene unit, 2 mtpa paraxylene capacity, and a crude oil terminal, reinforcing energy ties and growth in China.
