Industrial producer prices increased by 0.6 per cent month on month (MoM) in the euro area in August this year and by 0.4 per cent MoM in the EU, according to Eurostat.
These decreased by 2.3 per cent year on year (YoY) in the euro area and by 2.1 per cent YoY in the EU in the month.
In July this year, such prices grew by 0.7 per cent MoM in the euro area and by 0.8 per cent MoM in the EU.
