Australia’s cotton lint production is estimated to have risen by 12 per cent to 1.2 million tonnes in FY25, reflecting higher area planted and near-record yields.
Area planted under cotton is estimated to have risen by 10 per cent to 519,000 hectares in FY25 to sit 30 per cent above the 10-year average to FY24.
