Australia’s CPI rose by 0.2 per cent quarter on quarter and by 2.8 per cent YoY in Q3 2024.
Trimmed mean annual inflation was 3.5 per cent in Q3 2024, down from Q2’s 4 per cent.
Annual goods inflation was 1.4 per cent in Q3, dropping from 3.2 per cent in Q2.
The monthly CPI indicator rose by 2.1 per cent in the 12 months to September, down from a 2.7-per cent rise in the 12 months to August.
