Dhaka is reviewing its tariffs on products imported from the US, chief adviser’s press secretary Shafiqul Alam said in Facebook post today after the latter announced a 37-per cent tariff on imports from the former.
This tariff was around 15 per cent earlier.
The National Board of Revenue is identifying options to rationalise tariffs expeditiously, which is necessary to address the matter, he said.
