Bangladesh’s general point-to-point inflation rate rose in July, reaching 11.66 per cent due to rises in both food and non-food inflation, official data show.
The figure in June was 9.72 per cent.
The rate in rural areas in July was 11.89 per cent —up from 9.81 per cent in June.
In urban areas, it was 11.27 per cent in the month—up from 9.58 per cent in June.
