BASF has completed the first batch of plants at its Zhanjiang Verbund site, including glacial acrylic acid and butyl acrylate units, marking a key step toward its 2025 start-up.
The new acrylics complex will boost BASF’s production capacity in Asia, supporting rising regional demand.
Once operational, it will produce 400,000 tons of BA annually.
