BASF will transition to bio-based Ethyl Acrylate (EA) by Q4 2024, phasing out fossil-based EA.
The bio-based EA has a 40 per cent bio content, ~30 per cent lower carbon footprint, and identical specs to its fossil counterpart.
Produced using sustainable European bioethanol, it’s ideal for polymer dispersions, especially in Coatings and Adhesives industries.
