Cotton Association of India has revised India’s 2024-25 cotton production estimate down by 2.5 lakh bales to 301.25 lakh bales, citing a 7.84 per cent decrease from the previous season.
Total cotton supply projections have also been lowered to 357.94 lakh bales.
Domestic consumption remains steady at 315 lakh bales, while exports have decreased significantly.
