China and Germany have signed an MoU to establish a green shipping corridor between Shanghai and Hamburg, aiming for sustainable port development with green fuels.
Germany’s apparel imports from China reached $4.835 billion in early 2024, although China was previously its top supplier in 2023.
Germany also exports industrial textiles to China, though shipments have declined.
