Trade between the EU and China slightly eased in 2024, but textile and apparel trade showed positive growth.
China’s apparel exports to the EU increased by 2.05 per cent to $26.466 billion, while industrial textile exports surged 16.41 per cent.
Home textile and fabric exports also grew.
However, China remains a net exporter, with the EU recording a €304.5 billion trade deficit, as per Eurostat.
