China’s consumer price index was down by 0.7 per cent YoY and by 0.2 per cent month on month (MoM) in February, official data show.
The prices in urban and rural areas both decreased by 0.7 per cent YoY.
The country’s producer price index, meanwhile, fell by 2.2 per cent YoY and 0.1 per cent MoM in the month.
In February, the purchasing price of industrial products dropped by 2.3 per cent YoY.
