China’s consumer price index (CPI) was up by 0.4 per cent YoY in September—lower from a 0.6-per cent YoY rise in August, official data show.
The September CPI remained unchanged compared to the previous month.
The producer price index, which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, went down by 2.8 per cent YoY in September.
On a monthly basis, it fell by 0.6 per cent in the month.
