China’s electricity consumption expanded steadily in August by 8.9 per cent YoY to 964.9 billion kWh, official data show.
Power consumed by primary, secondary and tertiary industries rose by 4.6 per cent, 4 per cent and 11.2 per cent YoY respectively.
In the first eight months this year, power consumption increased by 7.9 per cent YoY to surpass 6.56 trillion kWh.
