China’s international trade in goods and services totalled 4.18 trillion yuan in August 2024, a 4 per cent year-on-year rise, according to official data.
Exports reached $322.4 billion, and imports stood at $263.5 billion, yielding a trade surplus of $58.9 billion.
Goods trade generated a surplus of 572.4 billion yuan, while services posted a deficit.
