China’s online retail sales expanded by 8.5 per cent YoY in the first half (H1) this year, according to Commerce Ministry data.
Online retail of goods contributed 29.6 per cent to the total retail sales.
E-commerce transaction volume for textile products grew by 6.2 per cent YoY during the period.
Cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 1.32 trillion yuan—a YoY increase of 5.7 per cent.
