China’s national railways moved around 3.03 billion tonnes of freight in the first nine months of 2025, up 3.4 per cent YoY.
The transport of key supplies such as coal, smelting materials, and grain was prioritised through green channels.
Coal shipments reached 1.553 billion tonnes, while smelting materials and grain transport rose 9.4 and 10.8 per cent, respectively.
