China’s textile exports at $42 bn in H1 2024, fabric accounts for 80%

China has achieved significant value addition in textile exports, with fabric exports comprising nearly 80 per cent of its total textile exports in the first half of 2024.
The country exported $42.66 billion in textile products, with fabric exports valued at $33.983 billion.
This focus on fabric exports has remained consistent, even in previous years.
