China’s cumulative exports of textiles, garments and accessories reached $197.274 billion in January–August 2025, almost flat from $197.615 billion last year.
Textile exports rose 1.6 per cent to $94.513 billion, but garment shipments slipped 1.7 per cent to $102.761 billion.
Imports of textile yarn and fabric fell 12 per cent to $6.391 billion.
Exports in August alone totalled $26.538 billion.
